      You were at home on a Saturday morning watching tv. You were flipping through the channels when you got to Animal Planet. They were passing old re-runs of Steve Irwin's show the crocodile hunter. How you used to love watching the fearless man put up with different dangerous animals. Not to mention his Australian accent that made you laugh. You were really into the show it was the episode 'wildest baby animals' you were 'awww'ing as you saw each baby animal. But the ring of your phone caught your attention. 

You ignored it and continued watching the screen, the light began to blink informing you of a voicemail. "I'll check it later" you said not really caring. But your phone kept ringing and it wouldn't stop so you finally gave in and picked it up. 

"What?...." Then the familiar voice of a certain English country spoke "Not too fond of mornings are you love? Anyways I was wondering if you were going to be okay with making it to the next meeting. Afterall as a English colony I am expecting you to be present" you groaned you were (f/n) (l/n) or The British Virgin Islands so you were under England's care.

"Yeah, yeah I'm going." You really had no choice he would drag you there anyways. "Splendid, well I will see you there bye" you only dropped back on the couch of course he would ruin your Saturday reminding you that you had papers to fill out. The next meeting was scheduled in Australia if you remembered correctly. 

All you knew about Australia was that he was once under the care of England. Usually  all the stereotypes about the other countries were true such as North Italy and his pasta obsession or America being loud and obnoxious so you figured this Australia guy was probably like Steve Irwin. You decided you would start packing since you were a huge procrastinator and waited last minute.

After a lot of budging you were still stuck when suddenly the door moved causing you to squeek in surprise. You heard laughing and turned to see a man a little older looking than you. He had slick back hair that was a chocolate brown with 2 ahoges stubbornly sticking from his hair. He had large green eyes that pierced into your (e/c)  ones. 

He also strangely wore a bandage on his nose. He was wearing a WW1 Australian digger uniform. The one thing you noticed immediately where his eyebrows, they weren't as big as England's but weren't average sized either. Only some people had those eyebrows this guy had to be a English colony no doubt about that.

After you managed to walk safely into the hall the man approached you. "Hey there Shiela you looked like you needed some assistance, so I gave ya a slight push." He smiled at you and you could see all his pearly whites. He had a Australian accent so you immediately recognised this man as Australia. 

"My name is not Sheila and I'm guessing your Australia?" He only smiled and nodded "that's me! But how did ya figure that out?" You only stook your hand out "I'm the British Virgin Islands it's a pleasure to meet you Mr.Australia, I noticed the eyebrows and new they were a English trait. That and your accent and uniform gave you away."

He looked down and smiled "Guess it did Sheila. Well then while I'm here let me help you with all that stuff." He pointed at your bags and began to help lift the burden from your arms. A sigh of relief left your mouth and you began to lead the way to your room. Putting a bag down you felt around your pockets.

Yup you lost your key card. The key card to your room, in a foreign country, in a exclusive hotel, for a world meeting. You sweat dropped and banged your head on the wall. Australia gave you a strange look and began to laugh. "Don't tell me your looking for this?" You turned and he was waving your key care in your face, which you quickly snatched away. 

"Where did you find it!?" He only smiled. "I found it on the floor in the lobby, near the door, where you stuck." What a ass this guy, you turned and opened your door. The inside was amazing! The room was large and the furniture was modern and nice. The thing that caught your eye was the giant window. You could see the famous Sydney Opera House next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Then you could see the water reflecting the moonlight in a amazing way. Overall the view was breathtaking. 

"Ahahaha you enjoying the view Shiela? It's beautiful ain't it? Just wait until you see the outback. That's when you see the real beauty." You were amazed yeah your place was gorgeous but you were so used to it. You nodded "It is...." He gave you a pat on the head and laughed. "Whatdya say me and you go sight seeing? I'm guessing you don't get out too often" 

"What do you mean?" He only laughed. "Well for one you don't have a tan, your pale. Second you seem a tad socially awkward, and finally I know what it's like to be a English colony. Constant work piled up its hard to get a break so what do ya say Sheila?" 

In return you gave him a questioning look. "I guess but only if you promise to be a gentleman, I've seen Steve Irwin I'm not quite looking forward wrestling crocodiles and my names not Sheila it's British Islands or (f/n) (l/n) got that?" He only laughed and "okay then British Virgin Islands what would ya like to do first." 

You pursed your lips in thought and looked out the window. Your eyes immediately landed on the Sydney Opera House. "I want to see that!" He only looked in the direction your finger was pointing and nodded. "Alright you might want to change your military outfit might attract some unwanted attention. I need to change too meet ya down stairs Shie- erm Virgin bye!~" 

"What the fuck!?" He had already run out the room before you could further scold him. Grumbling you grabbed a (f/c) t-shirt and slipped on some black denim shorts. You let your (h/l) (h/c) hair down and slipped on some sandals. Once you approved your look you grabed a pair of sunglasses and walked out.

Once you reached the lobby you didn't see any sighns of Australia so you sat down and you got this chill. You felt like someone no something was watching you. A hand was placed at your shoulder and you jumped. "Relax it's just me, so ready to go?" 

It was only Australia he was wearing tan cargo shorts and a black wife beater and it showed of his tan well built a- WHAT THE FUCK!? There was a fluffy ball that was grey but what you saw next gave you chills the evil little thing had red eyes. There was a catch tho.... Those evil red eyes and shiny looking fur was....

                         "That is the cutest thing I have ever seen"

It was just adorable and you wanted to glomp it. Australia started to laugh and had a shocked look on his face. " Hahaha not too often a Sheila like yerself calls this little chump cute." You extended a hand to pet it but Australia grabbed your wrist and gave you a serious look. 

"This little fella doesn't take kindly to strangers so unless you want t-" he was cut off by one of your squeals. What he saw shocked him his anti social koala climbed onto your shoulder and was cuddling and hanging on to you. "Your so cute!~ aww to think you have to cling to that man all day...poor baby!" Australia was starting to get jealous. "Hey! Whats so bad about me!?" You started to hug the koala and be oblivious to the fact that he was snuggling into your chest.

Australia being the pervert he is got jealous and tried to grab him but it only resulted in you shoving the koala further into your chest. After a while he gave up and spoke. "Anyways ready to go?" You snapped out of your fangirl moment and turned to him "oh yeah where are we going?" He smiled and held up a finger to his lips "that's a secret ya need to find out." 

You started to pout as the three of you headed out the front doors.

Australia had brought you to the rocks, a place filled with entertainment and people. Since it was already about 9 and none of you had eaten you both stopped at a restaurant and ate and had a few drinks. After he dragged you to the Sydney opera house where he took you into and gave you a tour. Being a country he got special privileges which meant you too got to act stupid in the concert hall. Last but not least he dragged you down to bondi beach. 

It was different from when you had gone earlier that day. It was calm and relaxing, the water gave off a nice breeze. You slipped off your sandals and felt the sand between your toes. The smell of the water hitting your nose, you were in heaven. Australia smiled knowing you were enjoying yourself. You sat a few feet away from the water and watched the waves come in at a calm pase. 

Australia took a seat next to you and looked over and noticed his little koala had fallen asleep on you. He really had never seen someone as pretty as you. He never believed in love at first sight because that's not what happened. He didn't love you I mean he only met you a few hours ago but he knew he was developing feelings for you.

"Hey Shiela?...." You turned and stared into his green eyes immediately getting lost in them. "I know we haven't known each other for more than a few hours, but I want you to know I had fun today." You smiled and he felt his cheeks grow warm. "Yeah I had fun too thanks for showing me around. Also I think the drinks might be talking but....I think I like you." He grinned and put a arm around your shoulder. 

"Ya know British Virgin Islands, I think I like you too." He leaned in slowly letting you pull away at any moment but you didn't. I stead your lips brushed his until he threw his head back shocking you. "Bloody hell! The little bugger got one on me" you looked down and saw his koala had scratched him a bit and was giving him a death glare. You started laughing "Hahahaha sorry Australia but I guess I'm already taken b his cute little bundle of fur." 

After 10minutes of Australia trying to pry the koala off your bosoms he finally succeeded. The koala gave up and clung back onto his rightful owner. Both of you walked hand in hand back to the hotel and he walked you up to your room. You opened got to your room and Australia had you trapped against the wall with a arm on either side of your head. "So are ya really a Virgin? Or is it just your name?" 

Your face was scarlet read and you were at a loss for words, he was leaning in to kiss you when he yelped and moved back. "Damn it again!?" The koala had given him a good scratch this time. While he was pointlessly arguing with the koala you gave him a quick peck on the cheek and ran into your suite. You smiled and jumped on your bed. Not only did you have a awesome suite and were in a gorgeous country but you now had a new crush.
